Alumni Speaker Series concludes May 26

The 2021 Alumni Speaker Series concludes Wednesday, May 26, with “Race Your Race” presented by R.J. Montes ‘02. The program begins at 6 p.m. CST.

A leader with Dupaco Community Credit Union in Dubuque, Montes graduated with a marketing degree at UIU. He now relishes in helping team members realize their full potential through engagement, education, and empowerment to help members meet their financial goals. With a mission to motivate and inspire, he is a self-proclaimed lifelong learner encouraging others to race their best race and to never underestimate their true potential and capabilities.

Developed by the Office of Career Development, the virtual Alumni Speaker Series sessions feature career-related topics inspired by the speaker’s career path.  Alums share their experiences and expertise virtually through Upper Iowa University’s Facebook page.  After the conclusion of each recorded session, they will be shared on the Alumni Speaker Series webpage to be viewed at any time.

Participants, who join the virtual session on Upper Iowa University’s Facebook page, will have an opportunity to ask questions during the event.
