Concert choir to perform at holiday ‘Pop-Up’ event

The Upper Iowa University Concert Choir Singers will perform a Christmas concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 3, in the UIU Student Center at Fayette. The choir will perform a collection of modern and classical Christmas carols.

Those attending the free event can also visit the UIU Holiday Pop-Up Shop from 3 – 7 p.m. in the Student Center. Over 20 vendors will sell arts and crafts, unique gifts, antiques, apparel, food and other items to holiday shoppers. In addition to a special visit by Santa Claus from 6-7 p.m., children will also enjoy taking part in the cookie decoration station. The Campus Dining Servery, including its all-you-can-eat buffet, will be open for dinner from 5-7 p.m.

The public is also asked to mark its calendar for a bit of “Holiday Chaos” from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, December 7, at the UIU Recreation Center. Children of all ages are invited to attend the free event. The activities include a Reindeer Boot Camp, and various other crafts and games.
