Campus comes to life with return of students
Before beginning to put their minds back to work, Upper Iowa University students were provided an abundant amount of assistance by family, friends, faculty, staff, and student volunteers while returning to the Fayette Campus on Friday, Aug. 21.
A large variety of move-in activities continued for all freshman, transfer, exchange, and new international students throughout the weekend. From the official welcome by UIU administrators and faculty on Friday to an All-University Picnic and Fun Fair on Sunday, the emphasis of each event was to help new students more easily adapt to life on campus.
Classes officially began on UIU’s Fayette Campus, each of its 25 U.S. education centers, Malaysia and Hong Kong locations, and online on Monday, Aug. 24.
