Best-selling author Katherine Hannigan coming to Upper Iowa University

FAYETTE, Iowa (January 16, 2015) – Mark your calendars! Best-selling author and illustrator Katherine Hannigan is coming to Upper Iowa University’s Fayette campus for a special presentation Thursday, February 19, from 2:30-3:30 p.m. in the Liberal Arts auditorium, which is being held in conjunction with her month-long exhibition of illustrations in the Bing-Davis Memorial Gallery on campus.

Hannigan, author of Ida B, Emmaline and the Bunny, and True (…Sort of), will speak about her career as an author, how she became an author and what’s next for this Fayette, Iowa, resident.

Following her presentation, Hannigan will be honored at an artist reception at the gallery from 3:30-5 p.m.

The community and children of all ages are invited to the artist lecture, reception and to view Hannigan’s illustrations, which will be on display in the gallery until March 27.
