Cupcakes and Kisses at UIU

With Valentine’s Day fast approaching, the Upper Iowa University Student Philanthropy Council (SPC) is excited to host the annual Kiss Under the Arch and inaugural Share the Love Cupcake Drive at UIU’s Fayette Campus.

As part of the SPC fundraiser, the organization has teamed up with UIU graduate assistant and baker Bethany Stock ’18 to sell her delectable cupcakes for $3 each. SPC members will collect cupcake orders from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Monday-Tuesday, February 10-11, at the Student Center. Orders can also be made online until 5 p.m. on February 11 at bit.ly/3bek2kd.

Cupcake recipient(s) will be notified by email about the “sweet” gesture and provided with pick up details. Two flavor options are available: chocolate cupcakes with almond flavored frosting and topped with Valentine’s sprinkles, and white cupcakes with raspberry filling and raspberry frosting. All cupcakes must be picked up at the Alumni House between 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Friday, February 14 (no exceptions).

Abandoned cupcakes will be donated to the annual Kiss Under the Arch event, which is scheduled from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. on February 14. Participants are also invited to enjoy complimentary refreshments at the President’s Office in Alexander Dickman Hall.
