Get ‘Pressed’ during UIU art programs Wednesday

A lunch with Midwest Pressed and Cedar Falls, Iowa, artists Aaron Wilson and Tim Dooley will be held at the Upper Iowa University (UIU) Performing Arts and Athletic Center (PAAC) in Fayette from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday, September 19. The artists will then host a screen printing workshop from noon – 2 p.m. at the PAAC.

The day’s activities conclude with an artists’ talk and reception in Edgar Fine Arts Hall at UIU’s Fayette Campus. The artists talk is scheduled from 3 – 3:30 p.m. in room 310, with the reception to follow in the building’s Bing-Davis Memorial Gallery.

All events are free and open to the public. Registration for the workshop closed Friday, September 14, but a couple seats remain open. For additional information, email Art@uiu.edu. The Midwest Pressed exhibit remains open at the Gallery through Friday, September 28. The gallery is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
