Executive chef Billy Shrubb and sous chef Brandi Shrubb of Shrubb’s Street Eatery will soon open a new gourmet restaurant on the second floor of the former Cabo Blue Sports Bar in Fayette. The Shrubbs mobile restaurant is known throughout the area for delivering its specialty sandwiches and other delicious cuisine, such as the Alder Wood Grilled Mac ‘n’ Cheese Burger, Grilled Filet Mignon Alfredo, and northeast Iowa’s original and highly acclaimed Chicken & Bacon Jam Flatbread.
In addition to sharing further details about the Shrubbs’ new venture, Upper Iowa University will soon announce another new establishment will be moving into the University-owned downtown building. Both businesses will be a welcome addition to the other Fayette merchants that serve the daily needs of the community.
