Free UIU Wellness Fair April 24

Upper Iowa University will host a Wellness Fair Tuesday, April 24. The free community event will include interactive exhibits from various area health facilities and food stores, free samples, prizes and giveaways. The April 24 event will be held from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the UIU Recreation Center.

The UIU Rec Center offers community memberships. As part of the Wellness Fair, UIU is offering a $20 discount April 1-30 on annual memberships. The facility includes weight and cardiovascular machines, a group fitness room, an upper and lower level indoor track, fitness trainer services, suspended batting and golf cages, and basketball, volleyball, tennis and badminton courts.

There is no charge to vendors or visitors attending the event. A list of Wellness Fair vendors will soon be available at uiu.edu/support/wellness/recreation-center.html. Additional information and vendor registration is available by emailing reccenter@uiu.edu.
