George Washington Carver Internship applications available

The World Food Prize Foundation is seeking applications for its prestigious George Washington Carver (GWC) Internship for the summer and fall semester. The internship offers unparalleled professional experience in the fields of graphic design, public relations and communications, event planning, and youth programming and education.

GWC interns work one-on-one with a staff mentor and are given the opportunity to take significant responsibility in developing, planning, and carrying out a wide range of the Foundation’s projects. Through this experience, interns become an integral part of this internationally renowned organization and interact with World Food Prize Laureates, government officials, international experts in science and agriculture, leaders in industry and business, and members of local and national media.

The internship is flexible to successful candidates’ schedules, but a minimum commitment of 12 hours per week for three months is required. While the position is unpaid, students may be eligible for course credit.

More information and how to apply can be found at www.worldfoodprize.org/gwcintern.
