UIU Dance Marathon registration underway

Upper Iowa University Dance Marathon volunteers invite UIU students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members to fill the ballrooms at Fayette Campus and help raise funds to benefit University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital.

Online registration is underway for the 2018 Dance Marathon, which will be held from 5-10 p.m. Saturday, March 24. Those who register receive a free T-shirt. Food will be served and music will be provided by DJ Mitch Eighme. The event is hosted by the UIU Dance Marathon Committee, while the UIU Gamma Delta Phi, Chi Alpha and EYE organizations are helping sponsor the fundraiser.

As part of the fundraiser, individuals seek donations for their respective team. The goal is to raise $100 per team member, not including the $15 registration fee. Participants can join a team that has already been created or start their own team.

Registration is available online at events.dancemarathon.com/event/UIUDM2018. A promotional code for $10 off registration will be posted at 8 a.m. Friday, January 12, to the UIU Dance Marathon Facebook page at www.facebook.com/UIUDMFTK/. The special discount is only available until 8 a.m. Saturday, January 13, so don’t miss out.
