Peacock men’s basketball send-off Thursday

The Upper Iowa University Men’s Basketball is heading to Maryville, Missouri, for the NCAA Division II Central Regional Tournament. All fans are welcome to help give the team a Peacock send-off at 2:45 p.m. at Dorman Gym on Thursday, March 9. The players and coaches will come through Dorman Gym to visit with fans prior to loading the bus for departure. Pete the Peacock and the UIU Cheerleaders will also be on hand to give the team a spirited send-off.

The Peacocks meet Northwest Missouri State in the first round of the NCAA Tournament at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 11. The game is available to watch free via internet stream through Northwest Missouri State’s website. For more details, visit the 2017 NCAA Central Region Tournament homepage.
