Graduate Fair scheduled for February 22
Upper Iowa University will host a free Graduate Fair on Wednesday, February 22, for students interested in furthering their education as well as community members wanting to pursue a postgraduate degree. Faculty and staff members from each of UIU’s five graduate programs – Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Education (M.Ed.), Master of Public Administration (MPA), Master of Science in Counseling (MSC) and Master of Sport Administration (MSA) – will be in attendance to provide information and answer questions from 4-7 p.m. in the Student Center ballrooms at UIU’s Fayette Campus.
“If you are interested in accelerating your future through a master’s degree, you need to be at this February 22 event,” said Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management Dawn Novak. “Current UIU students, recent graduates, students from other colleges and universities, and career professionals throughout Northeast Iowa will benefit from this free event.”
UIU graduate programs are designed to provide individuals with the knowledge, experience and skills they need to advance in their career. Most UIU master’s degree programs offer convenient in-class and online options, and UIU’s term schedule is built to accommodate students who cannot stop everything to earn a degree.
“We understand that graduate program students often need to balance work, family and other responsibilities with their education,” said Novak. “This drop-in event gives you the opportunity to ask questions and get the help you need to make the decision that is best for your unique circumstances.”
All event attendees are invited to enter into the door prize drawing for a 24-inch flat screen television. Free popcorn and refreshments will be served. RSVP is helpful but not required, and participants can drop in at any time throughout the three-hour event.
