Talent Showcase set to inspire December 9

Upper Iowa University Music and Theater Productions will host the annual Talent Showcase at Fayette Campus on Friday, December 9. The entertainment begins at 7 p.m. and will be held in the Student Center ballrooms at UIU’s Fayette Campus. Members of the public are invited to attend this fun, free event.

“I’ve been incredibly excited about the amount of undiscovered talent on our Campus,” said UIU Music and Theater Productions Director Robin Jons. “The Showcase gives these gifted artists a chance to shine, and polish their brilliance. My intention has been to inspire and to breathe new life into UIU Fine Arts programming and the enthusiastic response of participating students has equally inspired me.”

Jons noted the 2016 Showcase features the talents of UIU students, faculty and staff. In addition to performances by the UIU choir and soloists, the Theater Group will perform comedy improv.
