‘Heartland’ exhibit to close November 4

The landscapes captured in the “Heartland” of northeast Iowa by Upper Iowa University alumnus Mark Haltof ‘71 remain open at Bing-Davis Memorial Gallery in Fayette through Friday, November 4. The exhibit opened during UIU’s recent 100th Homecoming celebration and features landscape paintings created by Haltof after he served as an artist-in-residence at Fayette Campus last fall.

The 2016-2017 Bing-Davis Memorial Gallery artists’ schedule resumes the following week with the works of Chicago artist Josue Pellot. The exhibit will be on display Thursday, November 10 through Friday, December 16. Additional details about the Pellot exhibit are expected to be released soon.

Bing-Davis Memorial Gallery is located in the Edgar Fine Arts Hall at UIU’s Fayette Campus. The gallery is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
