Veterans Affairs director on Campus Jan. 15

Fayette County Veterans Affairs director Glen Beauchamp will visit the Upper Iowa University (UIU) Fayette Campus on Friday, Jan. 15. The informational event will be held from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. in the UIU Student Center Ballroom.

During the public event, Beauchamp will provide updates and additional information regarding, but not limited to, VA benefits, initiatives and policies; initiating and/or processing claims, and enrolling in the Veterans Affairs (VA) health care system.

Chad Cook, newly appointed UIU director of military and veteran services, will also be in attendance to answer questions related to Upper Iowa’s ongoing commitment to the entire military family. Cook stressed the Jan. 15 event is open to the community as well as to UIU students, faculty and staff.
