UIU and Fareway agree to CAP partnership
Fareway Stores, Inc., employees and family members will soon benefit from a newly established partnership with Upper Iowa University (UIU). As Corporate Advantage Program (CAP) partners, the company’s eligible employee members, spouses and dependent children (under the age of 26) will receive set tuition discounts for courses taken at any of UIU’s 25 U.S. educational centers or distance education programs. The application fee will also be waived for all participants.

UIU strives to meet student needs with convenient daytime, evening and weekend classes. Upper Iowa’s unique academic year consists of six 8-week terms. Students can take one to two courses most terms and graduate on schedule. Online classes can also be added to allow a student to work toward a degree.
Up to 90 college credits from other schools, as well as 12 graduate level credits can be transferred. Credits may also be earned through an individual’s work experience, through an experiential learning portfolio or various college examinations.
