UIU and International Police Association agree to CAP
International Police Association (IPA) members will soon have the opportunity to reap the benefits of the Upper Iowa University Corporate Advantage Program (CAP). As CAP partners, International Police Association members, their spouses and dependent children (up to age 26) will be eligible to receive tuition discounts for courses taken at any of Upper Iowa’s 25 U.S. educational centers, or through UIU online or self-paced programs. Application fees are also waived.
“Helping adult learners achieve their educational dreams is a goal of Upper Iowa University,” said UIU President William R. Duffy. “We are pleased that the International Police Association has chosen to partner with the University’s Corporate Advantage Program. Upper Iowa strives to assist all students in gaining the knowledge and education they need to excel in their careers and lives, and to do so in an affordable manner.”
As the largest and oldest worldwide fraternal police organization, the IPA membership is comprised of approximately 400,000 active and retired police officers worldwide. The association, which includes approximately 10,000 U.S. members, promotes global and cultural friendship among peace officers.
