Upper Iowa online Human Services degree ranked a best value

FAYETTE, Iowa (October 30, 2014) – Upper Iowa University has been notified that the UIU online Human Services degree has been ranked as a best value in the 2015 Best Value Online College Rankings by OnlineU.

The Upper Iowa Human Services degree is ranked 13th on the list.

The mission of OnlineU is to refocus the higher education conversation around affordability and quality and make access to online college information more transparent.

“We completed extensive research into the cost of attending different online colleges and then analyzed the outcome-based statistics to find the best value online colleges,” said Kimberly Wetter of the SR Education Group. “With the average price of college skyrocketing forcing many students to rely on student loans to fund their education, we were impressed with Upper Iowa University online and its ability to continue to offer quality degrees at a reasonable price.”

“We are pleased to be recognized for the affordability of our online programs,” said Barb Schultz, UIU assistant vice president for the Center for Distance Education. “UIU has been in the business of offering online degrees for 15 years, and we know that value is one of the top priorities for adult students. Our programs are designed to offer those high-value, high-quality educational opportunities in a supportive, flexible environment that changes lives one student at a time.”
